$53,000 – Restoration of the Olmsted Memorial Cairn

$1.47m – to purchase 40 acres of land off Dean Street to be preserved as open space. This parcel extends the wildlife corridor and increases watershed protection within the Wheaton Farm Conservation Land Management Area

$380,000 towards the restoration and preservation of Unity Church, subject to a Preservation Restriction held by the Town.

$30,000 for restoration iron gates, stone walls, fences, archways, and stonework at the Pine Grove Cemetery
$15,700 for roofing restoration at the Oakes Ames Memorial Hall necessary to preserve the building’s brownstone façade; subject to a Preservation Restriction held by the Town.

$380,000 for the purchase of land off Massapoag Avenue to be preserved as open space. This parcel extends the wildlife corridor, watershed protection and passive recreation opportunities of the Poquanticut Brook Conservation Management Area.

$13,600 to conduct a feasibility study for development of affordable housing at 12A Highland Street.

$425,000 towards funding the Affordable Housing Trust. These funds will be used to begin acting on the goals of the Affordable Housing Trust Action Plan which include creating a Housing Office staffed with a Housing Specialists, updating the Affordable Housing Production Plan and beginning development of a home-buyer assistance program.
$25,252 to create Povoas Park, a pocket park on land on Center Street for the enjoyment of local residents and walkers
