Zoning Board of Appeals
The Board of Appeals hears applications filed for certain Special Permits, Variances, Administrative Appeals and Comprehensive Permits pursuant to Chapter 40A, Mass. General Laws.
The Board of Appeals is also known as the Zoning Board of Appeals, or the ZBA. The Planning & Zoning Board is a separate board supported by the Department of Planning & Economic Development. Applications for Site Plan Approval, Subdivisions, and other Special Permits are reviewed by the Planning & Zoning Board. If you are not sure which board you are looking for, please contact the Board of Appeals Clerk or the Department of Planning and Economic Development.
As of December 11, 2017, the Easton Zoning Board of Appeals has transitioned to online permitting. All applications to the Easton Zoning Board of Appeals must be submitted online.
