Ribbon Cutting at the Prospect Street Solar Array

Join the Town of Easton, the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (MA DOER), Borrego Solar, and partners,in celebrating the completion of a 1.9 Megawatt ground-mounted solar landfill installation in Easton; a Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources Green Community Designate.

Listen to guest speakers  EEA Secretary Richard Sullivan,and others; as we celebrate and learn about the sustainable leadership Easton has taken in reducing its impact on our environment, while better positioning the community for long term operational growth and success. Attendees can expect to hear success stories behind the nearly $30 million in awards and competitive grants distributed to the 123 Green Communities of Massachusetts.      

Walking tours of the installation will be offered to attendees immediately following the speakers' presentations and ribbon cutting.

This event is to take place at the Prospect Street Solar Field (114 Prospect Street, Easton, MA). Arrivals at 10:30 am with speakers beginning at 11:00 am. This event is open to the public.
