Trail Building volunteer Opportunities

The second phase of trail work at the Clifford G. Grant Management Area began Sunday, September 8, 2013 and will continue through October. Volunteers are needed.
The Conservation Commission received a $17,730 grant award from the Recreational Trail Grant program, which is administered by the Department of Conservation and Recreation for a trail project at the Clifford G. Grant Management Area (the area behind the Oliver Ames High School and including the Town Forest and the Oliver Ames Parker Conservation Land). The grant was awarded to improve and stabilize the existing trail system and to add a section that will create a complete loop through the management area.
