At the Special Town Meeting on November 12, 2019, Easton approved Article 9 to ban the distribution of plastic shopping bags at checkout counters in town. Here is a link to Article 9 which is currently in effect. Due to Covid-19 concerns, some stores will require you to bag your own groceries if you bring in your own bags.
