Building Cleaning Services 

Sealed bids for furnishing the following item(s) will be received at the Office of the Town Administrator located at 136 Elm Street, North Easton, MA 02356 until the time specified below at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read:

Bid:     FY2020 Building Cleaning Services                                      June 24, 2019        

The scope of work for the Base Bid includes providing labor and equipment for the cleaning of Town buildings as specified.   The scope of work for Alternate Bid #1 includes providing cleaning supplies and materials for the cleaning provided in the Base Bid.  The Town reserves the right to award the contract for the Base Bid only, or the Base Bid plus Alternate Bid #1.  

The term of this contract shall extend from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.  The Town, at its sole direction, shall have the option to extend for one (1) additional year period, July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, with no changes in the contract price or terms and conditions, and at its sole direction with mutual consent of the contractor, the option to extend for an additional one (1) year period, July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.

 Specifications and bid forms may be obtained by email request to or by contacting the Easton Department of Public Works at (508) 230-0800. Bidders will then receive a PDF version of the specifications and bid forms only after they have registered with the Town as an eligible bidder for these services.

The Conservation Commission is accepting bids for repairs to the historic Wheaton Farm Barn at 520 Bay Road. 

Work will include: install pressure treated sills around the exterior; remove and replace rot at the bottoms of columns and create footings; remove some and reinforce other existing loft beams; rebuild stairs to loft; install barn door (as built by Owner); and other items, as detailed in Final Plans & Specifications by PARE Corporation dated May 31 2018.  The on-site pre-bid meeting was held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday November 7 2018.  3 Eisenhower Drive - Window Replacement

The Affordable Housing Trust is accepting bids to replace 24 windows and 1 double sliding glass door in a 1962 one-story single-family house at 3 Eisenhower Drive in Easton, MA.

Refurbishment of one (1) 2005 Emergency One Pumper (Engine 5) 

The Town of Easton is seeking qualified vendors to submit bids for refurbishment of one (1) 2005 Emergency One Pumper Engine 5 in accordance with the following specifications.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Chief Procurement Officer in the Town Administrators Office, located at the Easton Town Offices, 136 Elm Street, No. Easton, MA 02356 until 10:00am on Friday, October 5, 2018. 

All proposals shall be sealed, addressed to the “Chief Procurement Officer, Office of the Board of Selectmen, Easton Town Offices, 136 Elm Street, No. Easton, MA 02356-0129.”  three (3) copies of the bid are required.  The bid  must be signed, placed in an envelope, and sealed.  This envelope is to be clearly marked with the Proposer’s name, and titled
Town of Easton –  Refurbishment of one (1) 2005 Emergency One Pumper (Engine 5). 

This contract will be awarded the low bidder whose bid meets all of the requirements specifications.  The contract shall be awarded by the Board of Selectmen, which reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any and all proposals or to take whatever action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Easton.  Bids will remain firm for sixty (60) days following the opening of proposals.
