Council on Aging Programs

The Easton COA offers many services and programs to support the seniors in our community. Please click here to see the schedule of events. If you would like to register for a program, click here.

Most Council on Aging programs are held at Frothingham Hall Community Center as well as the Easton Housing Authority Facilities in either the Robert J. Keefe Community Center at Parker Terrace.

Financial Programs include:

  • Pharmacy Advantage 
  • Income Tax preparation
  • Fuel Assistance 
  • Homestead Act 
  • Educational Seminars
  •  Senior/Veteran Tax Relief Program

Health Promotion Programs include:

  • Health Screenings (sponsored by the Easton Board of Health)
  • Foot care Clinics
  • Fitness Classes
  • Educational Seminars
  • Health Care Proxy forms
  • Health Insurance Information
  • SHINE Program

Nutrition Programs include:

  • Hot Lunches (sponsored by Old Colony Elderly Services, served each weekday at the Robert J. Keefe Community Center, Parker Terrace, North Easton)
  • Meals on Wheels (delivered to homebound elders-please contact our Outreach Coordinator for more information)
  • Pastries and Breads, approaching their sell-by dates, available free of charge (Thanks to donations from Roche Bros. and Shaws, along with a team of great volunteers)
  • Work with the Easton Food Pantry, to ensure no one in need is left out (COA provides transport and delivery)

Outreach Programs include:

  • Assistance with applications
  • Home care referrals
  • File of Life supplies
  • ID Cards

Recreational Programs include:

  • Art Classes
  • Cards
  • Board Games
  • Puzzles
  • Adult Coloring
