The Department of Health and Community Services brings together the departments of Health, Recreation, Veterans' Services and Council on Aging. Each of these four departments' web pages can be accessed by clicking to your left or selecting them from the "Department" drop down menu within the "Health & Community Services" page.
These departments share similar missions of promoting health, wellness, and community engagement. Their combined mission results in comprehensive programs benefiting all Easton residents.

Director of Health and Community Services
Kristin Kennedy, is a local Public Health professional for over 30 years who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts. Kristin recently completed a certificate program offered by the Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts in Public Health Practices.
She is certified as Registered Sanitarian by The State of Massachusetts and as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian by the National Environmental Health Association. She is certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Soil Evaluator and Title 5 System Inspector. She is also certified as Pool Operator, Food Manager & a Lead Determinator.
She is a member of the following professional associations: NEHA, MEHA, and MHOA.
Deputy Director of Health and Community Services, Community Engagement and Programming
Anne joined the Recreation Department in March 2002 as a Record Account Clerk. She was appointed Recreation Program Director in 2004 and the appointed to Deputy Director of Health and Community Services in 2020.
Anne is a lifelong resident of Easton where she lives with her husband and three daughters. Her commitment to the community has resulted in an expansion of diverse and innovative programs for Easton residents. Anne is a member of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association (MRPA).
Deputy Director of Health and Community Services, Financial and Veterans' Services
Cory joined the Town of Easton in 2018 as the Veterans' Services Officer and was appointed to Deputy Director in 2020. He has over 14 years of experience in numerous aspects of public service, beginning with a career in the United States Air Force on active duty from 2007-2014. He holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bridgewater State University. He is also a Nationally Accredited VA Claims Agent.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Veterans' Services Officer Association, the Southeastern Massachusetts Veterans' Services Officer Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2547, the American Legion Post 7, and the Disabled American Veterans.
