SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (2)
 HIGHWAY DIVISION
BUILDINGS & GROUNDS DIVISION

The Town of Easton is accepting applications for qualified individuals to fill two union positions of full time Special Equipment Operators, 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:  High school graduation plus experience as a light equipment operator, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.  Possession of a valid Massachusetts Class B CDL and a valid Massachusetts Hoisting Engineers Class 2B required.  Highway position also requires Class 4E and 4G Hydraulics Licenses.  Buildings & Grounds position requires a valid EHAP Certificate. Some of the job responsibilities include:  operates public works vehicles, dump trucks, specialized heavy equipment and light equipment such as street sweeper, flail mower, sidewalk plow, catch basin cleaner, hand/power tools, excavator, backhoe, front end loaders and computers.  Compensation is $27.36 per hour with excellent benefits. The successful candidates must provide proof of an acceptable driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

 Administrative Assistant/Boards
(part-time on an as needed basis - evenings)

 The Town of Easton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part time Administrative Assistant with the primary responsibility of attending various board/committee meetings and taking meeting minutes.  The rate of pay is $20.68 per hour.

High School Graduation required including courses in office procedures; two years’ experience in an office setting, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
