TOWN OF EASTON
Administrative Assistant – Fire Department
(Part Time 21 Hours per week)

The Town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of part time Administrative Assistant for the Easton Fire Department.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, five years’ experience in administrative work including a strong financial background; Associates Degree preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of general administrative work. Duties include but are not limited to providing service to the Fire Chief, Fire Department personnel, general public and other municipal departments; prepares and reviews ambulance reports resolving issues with the ambulance billing company; serves as a Public Records Access Officers for the department; assists with the Sharps Disposal Program for residents; assists with the coordination of departmental Injured on Duty cases; assists with updating the Fire Department’s website and provides assistance with the Community Emergency Response Team and shelter as needed. Candidate must possess excellent computer skills, and be able to learn quickly. This is a non union position and the rate of pay is $25.91 per hour with excellent benefits.
