Wiring Inspector

The Town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of part time Wiring Inspector, 24 hours per week.

 

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:  Massachusetts Master Electrician License and possession of valid motor vehicle operator’s license. Five years’ experience in the supervision of electrical systems installed for residential, commercial and industrial construction or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must provide proof of an acceptable driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

This is a union position and the hourly rate of pay is $28.871 per hour with excellent benefits. Full range is $28.871 - $38.095 per hour.

Local Inspector/Zoning Code Enforcement Officer

The Town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of part time Local Inspector/Zoning Code Enforcement Officer, 20 hours per week.

Performs administrative and inspection work related to the Massachusetts Building Code, Local Zoning Bylaw and other applicable regulations; examines plans for compliance and issues electronic building permits and certificates of occupancy; performs building inspections related to building permits; serves as Zoning Code Enforcement Officer of the town; performs other work as required.  Excellent customer service and strong computer skills are recommended.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:  Certification a Massachusetts Local Inspector or have the minimum qualifications to become certified; and possession of valid motor vehicle operator’s license. The successful candidate must provide proof of an acceptable driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
