Easton’s annual Memorial Day Paradeis scheduled for Monday, May 29, 2017. Groups are asked to form at the Church Street Cemetery in South Easton no later than 1:30 pm. Ceremonies will kick off exactly at 2:00 pm. The parade will regroup after that ceremony and march from Church Street to Depot Street and then to the Civil War Memorial where there will be another ceremony and where it will end. Our Parade Marshal this year is Sidney Smith, Army National Guard. We will have the Oliver Ames High School Band and the Canton American Legion Band, Police Dept., Fire Dept., Selectmen, Veterans and cars. Other music will be provided by Ann DiSanto at the Civil War Memorial. There will be other speakers. Boy and Girl Scouts and all Daisy’s, Brownies and Cub Scouts are welcomed to walk in the parade. All groups are encouraged to come out and participate and all floats are welcomed. All veterans are encouraged to come out and march, walk or ride!
