Temporary grant assistance is available for income-qualified Easton renters.

Additional funding is now available and the Affordable Housing Trust is continuing its partnership with the Metro West Collaborative non-profit to expand and extend the current temporary grant assistance program for Easton renters not receiving other governmental rental assistance and earning below 80% Area Median Income who have lost income during the ongoing pandemic.  Grants are for $800 for a 1-bedroom, $900 for a 2-bedroom, and $1,000 for a 3-bedroom.  New households may apply for 3 months of grant assistance, and currently enrolled households may apply for an additional 3 months upon income recertification.  New or extended assistance will begin December 1, 2020.  Anyone interested in applying should contact Robyn Rufo at Metro West directly for an application and other program details (Robyn@metrowestcd.org or 617-923-3505 x5).
