August 5, 2019: Assessment of Final Sewer Betterments - Queset Sewer District Timeline
A notice was mailed to all property owners in the Queset Sewer District to notify them that the Select Board, as Sewer Commissioners, would be voting on the Order of Final Assessment and for an issuance of Final Sewer Betterment Assessments.
September 24, 2018: Final Betterment Workshop Presentation
A notice was mailed to all property owners in the Queset Sewer District to invite them to attend a final betterment presentation.
January 29, 2018: Construction Update
The Easton Center Needs Area (Queset) sewer system infrastructure expansion was approved at Annual Town Meeting on May 18, 2015. The Queset sewer expansion project will install sewer infrastructure along Washington Street, approximately from Easton Plaza to the intersection of Washington and Belmont Street, as well as from Washington Street to portions of Belmont Street, Central Street, Plymouth Drive, and County Lane. Construction is expected start Spring 2018 and continue through the end of the year. Woodard & Curran is the Engineer and A.J. Virgilio Construction, Inc. is the Contractor.

Property Owners: If you own a property which is being serviced by this project, please complete and return the sewer service information form, which was direct mailed to all properties and all property owners in late January 2018. Additional forms can be accessed here: Sewer Service Information Form. This form is necessary to allow your sewer service pipe to be installed at the correct location along your property line. You can also email the completed form direct to Ben Rogers at email@example.com. If you have any questions, or need assistance in filling out the form, please do not hesitate to contact Ben Rogers at 1-781-613-3316 or firstname.lastname@example.org. During construction, the Resident Project Representative (RPR) may request access to your home to help locate your existing sewer line / septic pipe. This site will be updated with the RPR’s contact information shortly before construction begins. Anyone requesting access to your property will have a Town-issued ID, and this website will be updated with a list of approved contractors.

Fall Special Town Meeting, November 2017: Voters approve supplemental appropriation for Queset Sewer Project (Article 7).
June 5, 2017: Sewer Commissioners hold a workshop to select and finalize Queset District parcels for inclusion in project.

December 21, 2015: Update on Queset Sewer District re: Request for Inclusion in District
On December 21, 2015, Woodard and Curran briefed the Board of Selectmen on the feasability and potential costs associated with expanding the Preliminary Quest Sewer District to include Eisenhower Drive and surrounding residential streets following a request for inclusion submitted by many residents in that area. Woodard and Curran's findings are available in this memo.
There will be a public information session regarding the above findings on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Frothingham Hall, 15 Barrows Street, Easton, MA.

On June 2, 2015, an invitation was mailed to all property owners currently in, or abutting, the preliminary Queset Sewer District inviting them to attend a public information session on June 29, 2015 at Frothingham Hall. May 18, 2015: Town Meeting Approves Four Articles Related to the Queset Sewer District and the Five Corners Sewer District
At the 2015 Annual Town Meeting, voters approved four articles related to the Queset Sewer District (funding of purchasing capacity from a WWTF and for design, permitting, and construction of a sewer system) and Five Corners Sewer District (Approval of funding for an Inter-municipal Agreement with the Town of Mansfield and design and permitting of a sewer system). April 29, 2015: Public Information Session to Discuss the Preliminary Queset Sewer District
On April 29, 2015, the Town of Easton held a televised public information session to discuss the Preliminary Queset Sewer District. All property owners with property in or abutting the preliminary district were invited via mail to this meeting. The focus of this meeting was to bring property owners who may potentially benefit / be impacted by this sewer project up to speed with all of the information currently available. Woodard and Curran were present to provide a presentation detailing the selection of the parcels within the preliminary district, potential funding and construction timelines, as well as an in depth discussion about the financing of projects such as this through betterment assessments. On Monday, March 30th, Woodard and Curran provided the Board of Selectmen with the Queset Commericial District Concept Feasibility Study and Report, outlining potential sewer concepts for the Queset District. This report was accompanied with the following powerpoint presentation.
